We’re proud of everything that goes into our delicious, homemade meals.

We base our menu's around the four seasons and try to use the most seasonal, freshest local produce available.

We are proud to support British food and farming wherever possible.

Most of our Pork & Lamb is reared in fields no more than one mile from the pub, other meats are locally sourced by Mac Burnham, an award winning family butcher, based locally in Chapel en le Frith or come direct from the wild Scottish highlands,

Our fish is delivered (every day) fresh from Fleetwood and normally arrives with us within 12 hours of being landed or caught.

During lockdown our chef Nick has created (read: lots of digging) an organic herb and vegetable garden at the pub, he is now reaping the rewards of his hard work in his delicious dishes everyday.

Food provenance: knowing where food was grown, caught or raised. knowing how food was produced.

knowing the distance food was transported.

If you’re planning an office party, a family get together or just frivolities with friends, we are just the place for you!

Our pub has some beautiful spaces from a cosy corner with a roaring fire to a private dining room.

Groups are welcome to wine, dine and have a jolly good time, you could also treat yourself to a stay

in one of our deluxe B&B rooms with no worries about driving or taxi's.

   Food is served Monday-Saturday 12-8pm & Sunday 12-6pm

In line with government guidelines we have reduced the amount of tables in the pub which means that we are only taking bookings for food and unfortunately

cannot accommodate "walk-ins"
